How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:
  • Departing from: NYC
    • For Chicago availability, replace NYC with ORD on the Departing from: field
    • For San Francisco availability, replace NYC with SFO on the Departing from: field
  • Outbound Advanced Routing Code: nrt /minconnect 4020
    • The 4020 after minconnect is telling ITA to search for a connection of at least 4,020 minutes or  67 hours. ITA will start to error out once that number is greater than 4,020 or so, however, longer stopovers are still possible. Using the result as a guideline, play with the stopover length on Priceline’s multi-destination feature to see if it price. It is trial and error.
  • Destination: HKG

  • Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
