United – From $553: Los Angeles / Seattle – Melbourne / Sydney, Australia. Roundtrip, including all Taxes
Deals to Australia recently have missed Los Angeles, the largest travel market to Australia from the United States. United is offering deals to Melbourne ($553) and Sydney ($566) on its nonstop service.
Availability from Seattle is also back with connecting service in either Los Angeles or San Francisco for $568 (Melbourne) or $581 (Sydney). You can open-jaw these fares — meaning, you can enter in Melbourne and leave from Sydney or vice versa for about the same price.
Update 4/12/2016 @ 2:15PM Eastern – Gone from Los Angeles. Still available from Seattle.
Update 4/13/2016 @ 6:25AM Eastern – all gone.
