US Airways: Grand Slam Promotion – Up to 110,000 Bonus Miles. Part II

We had 8 definite “hits” from last week’s post for US Airways Grand Slam Promotion. Here’s some more inexpensive hits.

  1. OfficeMax: Buy 12 PaperMate ballpoint pen – $1.79 (Item No: 10000367) + s/h + tax from OfficeMax via this link: You must use this link in order to receive the miles. Use coupon code SAVEATHON to save 20%.
  2. Buy flowers or a book. Search for “book” for $9.95 books. Must go from this link:
  3. Buy 1,000 miles from US Airways for $27.50 plus 7.5% tax. Link:
  4. FTD: The least expensive item seems to be $19.99 – use this link:

The cost per hit has really increased compared to last week and at this point, it isn’t worth it from a cost standpoint to get more. Counting the 8 hits from last week and the 4 from this week, that’s 12 hits or 15,000 bonus miles for less than $100. At 6/10th of a penny per mile, it is a very good earning ratio.
