Sorry for such a simple question but can someone clarify the info under the “Mileage” heading. For example, are elite qualifying miles (8,370 miles or 4.9 cents per mile) something related to a credit card??

    Thanks in advance

@James – no. they are miles you would earn if you give them your AA frequent flyer number. no credit card required. they are free to collect. opening a frequent flyer account is free.
