A good sale for nonstop service to/from Seattle and is the cheapest we have seen it for this route for a normal carrier. This is all thanks to Spirit starting service between Seattle and Los Angeles. Competition is good.

Good afternoon, I just found your site and appreciate your efforts to keep travelers informed.

My question – I was doing a casual search on flights from Vancouver BC to Paris over the past few weeks. The RT price was averaging around CDN$650 on Air France. When I finalized may available dates today and went back to book, the RT price had jumped to about CDN$1,200 on Air France. I’m booking several months in advance (January 2017).

Is this type of increase common for Europe? I appreciate any insight or education.

    Best wishes…Mike

@Mike – prices change constantly. so price fluctuation are common. lets put it this way, those in the west coast in the states would go nuts for a $500USD fare to Paris. so yes, prices like that do not last long. $1200CAD or about 1K USD is about right at least for those in the west coast in the states.
