American / US Airways – $245: New York – Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

A good sale to Santo Domingo.

This does not meet our 6 cents per mile criterion. Deals to DR from NY don’t happen very often. To give you an idea why, American is taking just $78 for itself from this fare. The rest of the fare is made up of taxes and fees.

We had a hard time pricing this – and only managed to get it done on Orbitz. They will charge you a $7 fee for multi-carrier itineraries such as this and the fee is non-refundable should you use its risk free 24 hour cancellation.

Depending on routing, this can be a few dollars more and some dates might involve an overnight layover in Miami

Given the recent government decisions, please boycott the Dominican Republic. Citizens of Haitian descent and darker-skinned Dominicans are being stripped of citizenship and targeted for deportation, despite having legal status.

Why is evreryone rushing to visit Cuba, a country whose government has robbed, persecuted, and killed many of its citizens; but wants to boycott the Dominican Republic simply for their own immigration policy?
