    Hi,

Spirit Airlines is offering LGA to MDE via Ft Lauderdale for much less….$379. Find it on Kayak for 11/11 o/b, 11/17 i/b.

@Jim – factoring in their fees, you would pay about the same unless you just travel with a backpack. Here are their fees assuming you buy it at the time of purchase. Anytime after is more expensive:
    1) $26 for a carry-on per direction. So $52 roundtrip
    2) Advance seat assignment – $1 – $50 depending on length. So let call it $10/segment. Or $40 roundtrip.
    3) If you forget to print your boarding pass at home, at the airport kiosk, it is $2 per segment or $8. If you have to talk to a person to get it printed, it is $10 per segment or $40.
    4) Plus their seats are 28″. Bone crushing.

So let say you just do carry-on, it is about the same. If you add anything on top, you will pay more. Always factor in the fees.

Hey, that’s why you’re the experts! I was so proud of myself. Oh well!

Suggestion: more editorial comment in the lead. I.e. Instead of templating “A good sale to….”, use your long experience to distinguish good from great from unbelievably great.

E.g. The $80 r/t NYC/Austin was stupendous….should have been underscored (I bought btw, and am grateful for your service).

Also: you should have an Amazon Referral link people can use to support you.

Finally: autonotification via email of reply to comments. I only caught your reply by accident!

Sorry, $80 to Dallas, not Austin (I’m driving the remainder!)
