    Hello,

I recently booked this deal with Egyptair and while this is definitely not a reflection on you all(I love your website), their service is HORRIBLE. Absolutely horrible.

So we booked the flight on a Friday and needed to make a change to it, so we went online and tried to change the reservation because you can do that with most airlines and we were unable to do so. So I thought to myself, hey no biggie, I’ll give them a call and to my surprise, their offices are CLOSED on the weekends. Now what major airline closes on the weekends? Egyptair does. This is such an inconvenience to travelers who are not in Egypt. I also called the Canadian office, who was closed as well. With us not being able to reach a live person on the weekend, we were in jeopardy of losing our free 24 hour changes that were stated on Egyptair’s website. Also, if I had a dire emergency or questions about a flight that was to happen that day and needed to reach someone in the states, it would be impossible. So I’d like to think of myself as a great problem solver, so I email the web booking address and here comes the run around. The went back and forth with me asking the same questions via email which was a slow process and carried over from Saturday to Monday morning, still with no resolution. DISSAPPOINTING. I also advised them that I was trying to be mindful of the 24 hour clause and I need my situation to be handled expeditiously. When I eventually got in touch with them, I spoke with the reservations manager, Robin, who was lovely. However, the communication lines were weakened when I was transferred to a lady in the ticketing department who failed to process my request and did not remember anything, even though we had an email correspondence. At this point, I’ve seriously had it with them, I called the reservation number and immediately asked to speak to a manager, but the woman on the phone said they were busy. After I began to tell her my issues, she said “you need to speak with a manager” as if I just did not tell her that 2 minutes ago. She gives me another number, I call it and ask to speak with a manager, she connects me to a manager and then they hang up on me before saying hello. I was also supposed to get a call back from one of the representatives. 3 hours later…..still no call back.
