British Airways – $949: Dallas / Miami – Johannesburg, South Africa. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

A good sale to Johannesburg. Out of Dallas, Delta has this for about $40 cheaper, however, you will earn significantly less miles with Delta than British Airways. Out of Miami, Virgin is cheaper by $100. Virgin’s fare will only earn 50% mileage when credited to Delta.

If you credit this BA flight to American, you will earn 20,760 miles (Dallas) or 20,090 miles (Miami) and that’s almost enough miles for a domestic roundtrip or is enough one-way to Europe off-season (basically, not Summer) on American.

If you want to travel cheap, collect miles.
