United – $466: Newark – Oslo, Norway. Roundtrip, including all Taxes

Norwegian Air Shuttle’s service between New York and points in Scandinavia has definitely made travel to Europe a lot cheaper. You can get this for cheaper on Norwegian, but factoring in all the fees that Norwegian charges, you will pay about the same. Bonus – you get about 60% of the miles needed for a domestic award ticket flying United.

This deal is still current as of 11/5/15 1717. I used the Orbitz Url and found it for roughly 484. But please help me out with this. I found 484 flight departing from EWR to OSL with a layover in Stockholm. Then return from OSL to EWR with a layover in Amsterdam. If I wanted to stay in each layover city how do I do say. I tried book multi city, but the price jumps drastically. Should I book the ticket, then pay the 100 fees taxes, etc at the ticket counter upon arrival? any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

@Dennard – stopovers are so manual, its just trial and error. use of stopover guide as a starting point and play around with it. there’s no easy way to search for stopovers – sorry.

@Dennard – you can’t just pay the 100$ fee at the ticket counter upon arrival. that would be a ticket change and reprice — it would be a lot more than doing it as a stopover. you need to do this all beforehand.

as we said in the stopover guide, while the fare rule might explicitly allow for stopover, it doesn’t mean that availability exist.
