  1. mq says:

Can you use UAL miles to upgrade with this fare?

    • TFD says:

@mq – yes, you can use United miles to upgrade Copa fares. But Copa operated a pure 737 fleet. The premium cabin is basically a glorified coach seat with extra legroom and 2×2 seating. We think you can use your miles for better things than upgrading for a domestic first class experience.

  2. Larry says:

Any concern about the short layover times in Panama (45 minutes or so) for many of these flights?

  3. DV says:

What is the easiest way to book this itinerary and still make sure I get United miles? If it’s hipmunk, what exactly would I have to enter into the departing from and arriving to sections of the form? Can’t seem to get it to work. (I’m trying to do CHI–>CUZ)

    • TFD says:

@DV – this fare will earn 100% mileage since all Copa fares earn 100%. And the LIM-CUZ segment is in Avianca P and will also earn 100% with United. All search and booking instructions is in the post.
