Update 4/25/2014 @ 12:25PM Eastern – we figured why it wasn’t was working that great from a booking perspective. Virgin America is launching service to Dallas – Love Field (DAL). When we posted this fare, Virgin America did not load this on their website yet and there continues to be issues with booking this on online travel agencies. For best availability, go there directly to Virgin America. The fare is also going to expire April 26th.

How to Search for Availability:

• Use ITA Software Matrix Airfare Search and use the following search criteria:
  • Departing from: SFO
  • Outbound Advanced Routing Code: vx
  • Destination:  DAL
  • Return Advanced Routing Code: vx
  • (Click on Advanced Routing Codes link to enable advanced routing code input)
  • (For Los Angeles, replace SFO with LAX on the Departing from: field)
  • (For United fares, replace vx with ua on the advanced routing fields and replace DAL with DFW on the Destination field)
  • Select “See calendar of lowest fares”
  • Length of stay “0-7” (the max date range is 7 days. So 0-7, 5-12, 7-14 etc)
