    Hi Flight Deal,

I saw a deal on this blog and booked SAS tickets through this blog’s Orbitz link. SAS changed their flight time (although only about 20 minutes). I decided the new time doesn’t work for me, so I called both SAS and Orbitz trying to work it out. SAS said that they sent out the new schedule and it was confirmed (by the travel agency, not me), so there is no way they can make any change for me free of charge. I never received any notification from Orbitz or SAS nor did I sent any confirmation out. Orbitz told me that they can only make change for 2 days before or after the original date, so my request of three days before is not acceptable.

Any advise on what I can do? Thanks.

@Li – our advice is to call SAS and/or Orbitz again, but in general, a 20 minute schedule change is not going to give you a free change. Contract of carriage for airlines on airfare is getting you from destination A to B.

That said, in our own experience, we have never had luck getting a free change unless its more than an hour.
