    Looks like the fare may have gone down. I’m seeing $301 on Delta in summer 2014.

    Just booked this. It’s actually $301 from LAX for March 2014 now. Also, can be booked using Delta’s own website, as a “published fare,” for the same price. I noticed that you only get 25% Skymiles for V class fares bought through consolidators, so this strategy avoids that problem.

      @Bog – this is a published fare. So you would’ve earn 100% regardless of booking channel.

      Examples of Unpublished fares include:

      Student fares
      Consolidator fares
      Flights included as part of a cruise package
      Discounted tour packages
      Group fares

      Consolidator fares are not searchable on ITA.
