Japan Airlines will be running an interesting promotion in February 2020 — 100,000 free ticket for overseas visitors to Japan between July 1st, 2020 and September 30th, 2020.

The promotion for this will open sometime in late February 2020. But basically:

• You need to be an overseas visitor to Japan during the promotion period
• You have to join their mileage program – Japan MileageBank. It’s free
• You then apply to see if you win when the promotion is launched
• JAL will show you 4 possible destinations within Japan from Tokyo – Haneda or Osaka – Kansai airport
• The tickets will be for travel within Japan
• You can apply for up to 4 passengers
• And if you are selected, you will receive which city you “won” within 3 days of applying
