JetBlue: 1,200 Free TrueBlue Points

JetBlue formally launched its Social Badges program today. By completing a few simple tasks, you will receive TrueBlue points in return. Some are social network oriented and some are not.

Here’s a sample of the points you will receive:

  • 500 points for connecting your TrueBlue account to Twitter (It says 250 points, but it is really 500)
  • 500 points for connecting your TrueBlue account to Facebook
  • 100 points for sharing your map on Facebook
  • 100 points for going through tutorial

JetBlue needs to fix their copy for Twitter earning. It is 500 points not 250 like they say.

Additional bonus points can be obtained but they are a bit spammy:

  • 50 points for sharing on Facebook 5 times
  • 50 points for sharing on Twitter 5 times
  • 50 points for inviting 5 friends on Facebook to join Badges

  • 500 points for flying during your birthday month

This is an easy 1,200 points, we would avoid the spammy points. Rewards start at 5,000 points, so it is a nice easy way to get some free points toward a free flight. JetBlue points are valued at about 1.3 cents per point, so JetBlue is paying you approximately $15.60 to do this.
