    FYI you can elect to use your AA ff # when buying this tix & get base miles credited to your American Airlines annual mileage tally (this applies for several JetBlue destinations from Boston and a couple other departure locations – but generally not destinations AA competes on).

    AA told me about this trick as they’ve eliminated all other ways to get miles that will go toward million mile goals (I’m 150k miles shy of Platinum) and I’m worried if AA were to merge coming out of bankruptcy they may close down the million miler program (up to December I was still racking up miles with their Executive Citi credit card).

    If you hear of any other way to accumulate million miler points please share…
