Delta is putting London on sale as part of their 4th of July sale in both Coach and Business Class for July and early August travel from selected US cities:

  • Atlanta, GA (ATL) *
  • Boston, MA (BOS) *
  • Chicago-O’Hare, IL (ORD)
  • Dallas-Fort Worth, TX (DFW)
  • Detroit-Wayne County, MI (DTW) *
  • Houston-Intercontinental, TX (IAH)
  • Los Angeles, CA (LAX)
  • Memphis, TN (MEM)
  • New York-Kennedy, NY (JFK) *
  • Philadelphia, PA (PHL)
  • San Francisco, CA (SFO)
  • Washington-Dulles, DC (IAD)

* Non-stop service

For Summer travel, these are good fares, but not as good as their $700 non-stop service sale from JFK on Sunday. To take advantage, must purchase by July 4th! This is only a few hundred dollars more than flying in Coach normally!

  • 12,076 miles or 14.6 cents per mile in International Business Class. 7.2 cents in Coach. Remember, if you fly business class, you earn a 50% class of service bonus as well as 50% elite status bonus. If you fly from San Francisco in Business, this will earn you 18,144 elite status and redeemable miles. Almost enough for Silver Medallion status with Delta.

$1,768 for Business Class from San Francisco to London. Good deal for Summer Travel!
