Delta has put many destinations to the West Coast on sale from Newark. It will not last.  This also represents a nice price drop from this morning’s Newark – Las Vegas post. If you bought that, cancel it and repurchase.

Gah, the only thing I can find from SNA – EWR is $352pp in late June/early July. Ugh, searching for a good deal on flights can be so frustrating. 🙁

    • TFD says:

      Jennifer,

Seems like there is a blackout for June/July. Availability seems to be better August onwards.

      • Jennifer P. says:

Again, awesome insight, thank you!! I have no problem waiting to visit until August….except then we’ll have to pay for a flight for our just-turned-two-years-old-in-mid-July darling girl at home. Ugh….decisions, decisions.

I remember TFD posting about how $220 RT tickets from NY to SF were unusual, but what would TFD say is just completely unreasonable for a RT flight from LA to NY?

        • TFD says:

We officially started TFD in August, 2011, since then we have only published one $219 fare from LAX to NY and that was valid for travel for 3 days only (December 1st – 3rd). We wouldn’t say it isn’t possible, just that likelihood is low.

This actually give us a good idea – we should put up a page with the lowest fares that we have published between city pairs so that our readers have a sense what is the lowest fare found.
