Mardi Gras for Cheap!

Did you always want to go to Mardi Gras? Well, it’s your lucky day. Delta is running a sale to New Orleans from now until June, 2012.

Mardi Gras is Tuesday, February 21st, 2012. Most festivities begin on Saturday, February 18th, 2012. To get the most out of Mardi Gras, it is advised to get into New Orleans by Saturday.

Sample Date:

  • February 15th – 22nd, 2012. In order to get the inexpensive fares, you have to leave before or on the 15th of February.

Valid Travel Dates:

  • Now until June, 2012

Routing:

  • SFO (San Francisco) – ATL (Atlanta) – MSY (New Orleans) – LAX (Los Angeles) – SFO

Mileage:

  • 4,571 miles or 5.5 cents per mile. 4,571 is almost 1/5 of the miles required for a domestic award ticket! Think of it as a 20% rebate for future travel. So remember to collect your miles.
