    This is an awesome fare! Just want to add a few tidbits:
    1.) 50 days advanced purchase required
    2.) No minimum stay requirement
    3.) Only USD 120 change penalty (plus fare difference of course)
    4.) Last ticket date is 30JUN 2015. So you don’t even have to rush to get a ticket.

    I wonder why KE is selling this route so low. I can’t find a reason for them to retaliate against CX. Anyone has any ideas?

    • Tiffany says:

      What do you mean by the last ticket date is June 30? We have until June 30 to book for this price?

      • The Flight Deal says:

        @Tiffany — while the fare rules says that it is available until June 30th. It does not mean it is available until then:
        1) The number of seats available for sale might be sold out
        2) They can pull this at any time.

        As always with anything we post, buying it sooner is always better than buying later.

    I am so happy I saw this deal. Thanks so much. I got deal and seeing friends who live their I will be visiting. All my friends say korean air is good.

  3. Mike Griffin says:

    I would like to stop for few days in Seoul. I called korean air and was informed that if i decide to have a stopover in Seoul I would be charge different rates not $100 for stopover as you mentioned in the post. Any advice is highly appreciated.

    • The Flight Deal says:

      @Mike –

      Using instructions on the post on how to build a stopover, here’s a stopover sample when booking via Orbitz — its $690. Stopover is $100 more, but stopping in Seoul results in $16 in new taxes and fees and that’s why its $690 and not $674. Follow the stopover guide and play with it. We doubt most reservation agents who are paid to get a booking done as quickly as possible is going to spend the time and effort to help you book a stopover. Stopover is an extremely manual process. Not plug and play.
