Emirates has a $590 fare to Kuwait from New York. Kuwait isn’t on most people’s tour maps. However, taking advantage of the 2 stopovers in the fare rules, it is possible to visit Milan and Dubai for about $300 more!

You don’t have to do both stopovers but you must go to Kuwait first. So it is possible to do Milan and Kuwait or Dubai and Kuwait.

With the 5% off promotion from Alaska Airlines, this is $882.

  1. Alex says:

    Hello!

Are there any limitations to the stopovers when it comes to where you stop? Where can I see which other cities are available to stopover in?

Thanks so much for the deals!

    • TFD says:

@Alex – we found milan and dubai. no idea about others — if you have an expertflyer subscription, you can see the full routing rules to see where potential stopovers might exist, thought doesnt necessarily mean there would be availability.

  2. Dennis G. says:

    Done!

JFK > DXB for 5 days, then finish in Kuwait for about 3hrs before turning back to DXB > JFK.
Using Emirates promo code: USALK14 the flight is $570.40. Thanks for the headsup!
