This does not meet our 6 cents per mile criterion. But, we are going to show you how to take a fare that is for Oslo, Norway and turn it into a trip to Amsterdam by using the allowed stopover as specified in the fare rules. Please follow the instructions on how to search and buy.

(Deal flow is slow today, this is more interesting than anything else out there from New York.)

Just an FYI, I think you need to switch the mileage numbers for 2014 and the difference (in 2015).

    • TFD says:

@Russ – bad copy and paste job on our end. its now correct. thanks for the heads up.

  2. janice says:

And to compound the problem with United for 2015 is that if you don’t book on the United site you don’t get PQDs (premiere quality dollars)!!! United is NOT looking good for 2015 (at least not for me)!

    • TFD says:

@janice – dont see that anywhere on the mileageplusupdates.com site. is this something new that is announced after the deval change? because as of today, you can earn PQD irrespective of where you buy except for bulk/consolidator/group tickets/opaque tickets. if you want PQD for Star Alliance tickets, then you have to buy on United.
