Anywhere to Europe from the West Coast for under $500 is a fantastic deal. From New York, availability is much more limited than Los Angeles. This will not last.

    On ITA Matrix Software I see dates in February 2015 for $460, but when I went to Orbitz or United, those dates are not yet available for booking.

    Should I wait for the February 2015 dates to open up, or should I just book another date in order to not let this deal slip away?

    Thanks TFD!

    • TFD says:

      @Derek – we do not believe these fares will last much longer. Orbitz, United and most online travel agencies only allow booking until January 30th at the moment.

      If you have to book for February, 2015 travel, Vayama will let you book it for around that price (we just ran it, it was $502 vs $460 for Feb 2nd – 9th departure). There could be other travel agencies who might also be able to price it for you for Feb, 2015 travel.

  2. derek says:

    Hello again. What are some valid stopovers on the way home from Copenhagen? I tried Berlin and the price skyrocketed. Thanks!

    • TFD says:

      @derek — we have seen london and oslo. even with full allowable routing from expertflyer (paid subscription – 5 day free trail), finding availability for stopovers is always pretty manual. so, trial and error.

  3. cosmo says:

    I was trying to find something in June… couldn’t see anything in any of the months, save a 700 fare in May… Does that mean the deal is gone?

    • TFD says:

      @cosmo – per the post:

      Fare Availability:

      Valid for travel until March 27th or October 26th – December 11th or December 25th – February, 2015. Must purchase at least 1 day in advance.
      Also available from from March 28th – May 15th or August 25th – October 25th for approximately $100 more

      So June wasn’t part of the valid travel period. We did a quick check for November availability and there still some left, but its very limited at this point. Please follow our ITA search instruction to search.
