Starwood: 100 Free Starwood Preferred Guest Points

Starwood just announced on Twitter that it is giving 100 SPG points for liking their Facebook page and entering a contest for 100,000 SPG points. 100 points is not a lot and you can’t do a whole lot with it, but it serves multiple purposes:

  1. If you have a SPG account and have points in it, it extends the points expiration another 12 months
  2. If you have 1,400 points in your account, the additional 100 points would allow you to transfer to over 20 airline partners at 1:1 ratio
  3. If you are 100 points from a free night, well, here’s that 100 points that you need
