Mistake Fare Alert: United/AA/LAN: Washington D.C. (IAD/DCA)/Dallas/Boston – Lima, Peru. $339. Roundtrip. All In

The last time there was a deal this good to Lima was the $270 LAN fare from DC/JFK in November 2009. The Flight Deal team took advantage of that deal and hiked Machu Picchu.

Fly into Lima, explore the city, have some great ceviche and definitely have a meal at Astrid y Gaston (one of the top 50 restaurants in the world).

After exploring the city, buy a plane ticket on either Star Peru or TACA (they are the two cheaper airlines to Cuzco from Lima) and use that as a base to Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu is truly worth seeing.

This is a mistake fare. We will be updating throughout the day tomorrow as more details are available.

[Update 1 @ 11am: Also available from Dallas for $340ish]

[Update 2 @ 11:05am: Also available on Orbitz.com]

[Update 3 @ 12:40pm: Also available from Boston for $445 and also added fare rules.]

[Update 4 @ 6:25pm: To clarify United availability — United is on the title because so combinations had United for the domestic portion. This is very much so a LAN/AA deal]
